ICMCA is excited to announce the Rhythms & Flavors: Cultural Festival, returning in Fall 2025! After the resounding success of our inaugural event in 2024, this year’s festival promises to be even more spectacular, with captivating live performances, dazzling dances, hands-on activities for the entire family and a vibrant celebration of culinary diversity. This much-anticipated event is our way of bringing the community together, and we’re delighted to share that it will once again be a FREE EVENT with FREE ADMISSION.

Parking Options:

  • There will be plenty of FREE parking at Unity Church of the Hills.
  • FREE overflow parking is also available at the State Farm building located in front of Unity Church and at Bethany United Methodist Church, directly across from Unity Church on Anderson Mill Rd. Signage will be posted for your convenience.

Rhythms & Flavors – Cultural Festival

ICMCA is excited to announce the Rhythms & Flavors: Cultural Festival, returning in Fall 2025! After the resounding success of our inaugural event in 2024, this year’s festival promises to be even more spectacular, with captivating live performances, dazzling dances, hands-on activities for the entire family and a vibrant celebration of culinary diversity. This much-anticipated event is our way of bringing the community together, and we’re delighted to share that it will once again be a FREE event with FREE admission.

CULTURAL PERFORMANCES:

  1. NORTESUR ENSEMBLE  [ 11:00 – 11:30 AM] – Led by Rachel Browne and Eduardo Cassapia, a powerful blend of Andean, Latin American, and world music with harp, panflutes, guitar, percussion, and voice.
  2. BOLLYWOOD MAGIC   [11:45  – 12:15 PM] – Get ready to dance as Rhythmics Kathak School brings the glitz and energy of Bollywood to life! Electrifying moves, vibrant costumes, and infectious rhythms will have you tapping along in pure desi delight!
  3. JOSE MANUEL TEJADA & FLAMENCO DANCE   [12:45 – 1:30 PM] – Talented Flamenco guitarist will perform alongside vibrant Flamenco dancers along with Vocal accompaniment.
  4. ATASH  [2:15 – 3:15 PM] – Voted “Best World Music Band” at SXSW seven times, their eclectic fusion of global instruments and medieval Sufi poetry creates an unforgettable musical experience.
  5. ABOU SYLLA & BRAMAYA DANCE ENSEMBLE  [3:45  – 4:45 PM] – Experience the powerful rhythms of West African drums and the dynamic movements of the Bramaya dance troupe.
  6. NATYALAYA SCHOOL OF DANCE [5:00 – 5:30 PM] – From the sacred syllables of Sanskrit to the syncopated beats of global pop, Natyalaya School of Dance invites you on a journey where classical Indian dance meets modern expression. This program is a curated tapestry of movement and meaning, blending devotional intensity with playful innovation.A powerful visual and emotional journey not to be missed!
  7. GOURISANKAR & THE WORLD PERCUSSION COLLECTIVE  [5:45 – 6:15 PM] – Led by internationally acclaimed tabla maestro Pandit Gourisankar, this dynamic ensemble features guest percussionists from around the world – Jagdish Sheth on the Dholak, Djembe and Thumba, Jason McKenzie on the Kanjira and Rishi Prasad on Tabla. Rooted in tradition and powered by global groove, this high-energy act promises a boundary-crossing celebration of rhythm.
  8. BATERISTAS DO CORACAO [6:30 – 7:00 PM]  – 12 ALL female Samba Reggae Brazilian drumming group! Come Dance with us!
