The Indian Classical Music Circle of Austin (ICMCA) is Austin’s premier organization dedicated to promoting classical music, dance, and Indo-Jazz/Fusion events. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1991, and proudly supported by the City of Austin Economic Development Department. Since 1991, ICMCA has brought world-class artists to Austin, enriching the city’s cultural tapestry and engaging diverse audiences through our concerts and festivals. Recently we were honored as one of only 36 organizations to receive the prestigious two-year Thrive Award (in 2023/24 as well as 2025/26) from the City of Austin, enabling us to expand our programming and increase musical awareness across all communities in Austin.
