We are excited to announce that Pt. NityanandJi and Pt. BasantJi will also be hosting a 2-day vocal & instrumental workshop!
Workshop Details:
- Friday June 6 and Sunday June 8
- Venue: Austin Yoga Tree, 10401 Anderson Mill Rd, #105B, Austin 78750
- Duration: 3 hours per day
- Format: Lecture, demonstration, and interactive practice (for instrumentalists and vocalists alike).
- Level: Open to students of all proficiency levels in Hindustani classical music, with the option for music enthusiasts to attend as observers.
- Fee: TBD (Workshop attendees will receive free admission to the Saturday, June 7th concert, plus one complimentary guest ticket).

This special concert features two of her most distinguished disciples: the remarkable Pandit Basant Kabra on the sarod and the illustrious Pandit Nityanand Haldipur on the flute. Annapurna Devi’s profound influence has shaped their musical journeys, imbuing their performances with unparalleled depth, nuance, and soul. Adding to the magic, they will be accompanied by the masterful rhythms of Pandit Gourisankar on the tabla.
As part of this celebration, Pandit Kabra and Pandit Haldipur will also lead an exclusive two-day instrumental workshop—a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in their artistry and gain invaluable insights from these legendary musicians.
