Dr L. Subramaniam is justly celebrated as one of India’s greatest composers, musicians, and artistic guides. With just a violin at his command, this global artist has transcended all cultural and geographic barriers and in doing so, earned accolades and awards from critics, arts organizations and governments in over 30 countries. Generations of artists and concert-goers have been inspired and beholden to his singular brand of classical, classical jazz, jazz fusion music, especially his famed collaborations with Stephane Grapelli (Conversations).
In this concert he will present an Indian classical repertoire, the violin maestro will take Austin raasikas on a spectacular journey of Carnatic ragas and compositions.
